    Water in Bilge ?

I have a 2000 SAN and it seems lately that i alwyas have a fair bit of water in the bilge after a day of boarding. How does this compare with others with this boat ? How often do you change the shaft seals ? Is this common on this boat ? I was wondering if i wore the seal out, our lake can be fairly weedy and i am catching weeds causing vibration sometimes. Looking for ideas/advice.

Check the packing on the drive shaft. It should only have several drips per minute, any more then that you'll need to adjust the packing. Also take a look at the rudder shaft seals. If all checks OK then check for leaks on all thru-hull fittings and engine cooling hoses.
