Requesting Details on Roswell Experience Seadek 2002 SAN

I would really like to get some details on the steps needed to convert the motor cover to a walk over like in the attached photos. With Roswell and Seadek both being site sponsors, I would think someone could get details on what was done to this 2002 SAN. This conversion looks spectacular.

I have looked, but never found any build albums for this boat or any of their customs. I am assuming they just tore everything down to nothing and started over. Lots of fiberglass and gelcoat. And of course lots of professionals, I would expect if I tired to do any of this it wouldn't turn out near as well.

Great question BrickBrock. I'm looking to possibly buy an '08 SANTE 230 for a phenomenal price, so I'm trying to figure out what upgrades I can do to make it look much newer than it is... these guys killed it with the '02!

Please let me know if anyone has advice for upgrading the 2008 SANTE 230 ?? Thanks in advance.

I am still wishing that I could find out more about how to convert the motor cover to a walk over. My vinyl needs replacing and I would rather do something like this rather than just replace the vinyl.

I will preface my comments by saying I have not seen the Roswell 210 in person, however, I have seen and been in more than a few OG210's and the "walk through" on the Roswell boat looks like a stock engine cover and hatch covers from a 2001-2006 version boat.
To my eye, it appears that the "walk through/over" is achieved by removing the stock vinyl and foam from the engine cover (approx. 3"-4" thick) and replacing it with Seadeck which is approximately 1/4"-3/8" thick.
If you have an older boat with the one piece engine hatch/locker cover this project becomes more difficult, but someone on here has done it.
Find a good vinyl/upholstery shop locally and show them some pics of this boat and what you want to do with your project.

I was gonna suggest basically the same thing as above, a good upholstery shop should be able to give you a walk-thru by making some modifications to how the foam is cut at the transom and then making sure that the area you will be using as a walk-thru, is re-inforced well enough from underneath. Then template and order Decking. When I had my vinyl redone...even tho I already had a transom walk-thru, I did not want people stepping on my back seat when stepping up to the walk-thru since it pulls the seams loose over time....so I removed the vinyl off my back seat and cut out a 10"x10" section of the foam in the middle of the seat, then filled that area with blocks of HDPE and secured them to the seat so they were solid....then I had new vinyl installed, and then installed a 3/8" thick piece of 12"x12" HDPE directly over the block inserts inside the seat and then covered the HDPE "step" with decking. Turned out exactly like I hoped it would
