    Oil residue/leak on sv211 rudder plate . Pcm330

Noticed a small 2inch oil spot on floor under the boat . Found some oil residue on the rudder plate above the rudder. I’m thinking this isn’t normal . Anyone ever have this issue Click image for larger version

Doesn’t seem normal, any oil in your bilge?

Check the bilge area under the motor real good with a light could be an oil leak from engine.

You should not have oil coming out of that area. You likely have at least two issues. One the seal around your rudder port is leaky and the other you have some sort of oil leak from your engine or other fluid leak. Like Scooter and McCann said check in your bilge area. Get it clean and then put down paper towels down to see where it might be leaking from.
