SV211 Engine divider reinforcement

I’m planning to remove hard tanks this winter and put in bags. Either 400’s or see how 750’s fit. Do people find it necessary to reinforce engine divider panels in the 211 when putting in bigger bags?

I reinforced mine when I put 750's in. I don't know if it was necessary but I did it as a precaution. I took a piece of 1/2 inch aluminum angle, cut 4 pieces, each about 18" long, beveled the edges, drilled holes at each end and attached one at the front and one at the rear with stainless steel screws and wing nuts.

Mike, did you run them vertically then?
BTW, can you get 750’s full in those compartments?

Yes I ran them vertically.
The port side with the walk-thru was completely full when the 750 filled, but the wake was never washed out on one side, so it seems they both filled equally.
