How to keep water out from around the tower?

I have been having issues with water getting into my boat, and it appears to come in where the cover meets the tower. I initially thought it was my cover, but the upholstery place said the cover was fine, and that was the nature of wake boats. What has anyone done to correct this? There has to be something I can put in the gap to where the tower and cover meet, without getting a full cover to go over the entire tower. I have a 2012 SAN 210 if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Shrink wrap around the legs. Perhaps it has a different name in the US?

I shrink wrap when I store it for the winter, but how do I stop the water from getting in when I have it docked at my slip? The cover is on, but water gets in when it rains where the cover meets the tower.

I’m wondering about the Saran-Wrap stuff they use for moving.

I think saran wrap would work well and have been meaning to try that option myself....I have also used blue painters tape in the past. I just wrap it around the tower leg several times where the cover meets the tower legs which causes water to flow over the tape...which then flows over the cover since edge is sealed with the tape. I do this especially if I am trailering somewhere and think it will rain on the way which seems to work quite well since that is the one spot that also leaks on my cover. You just do not want to leave the painters tape on long term since it can "bake" onto the metal and leave residue tho it wont leave residue if you remove within a week (in my experience). I also clean and then wipe down my anodized tower using 303 and this helps keep anything from sticking to it, bugs remove easier, etc.

Just a note....since you have a 2012, have you cleaned and treated your cover with either the 303 or the Starbrite waterproofing? I do that every other year since I garage and do not expose my cover a lot to the elements and it makes a BIG difference on shedding water since covers will allow water thru the fabric over time. That may be another way water is getting in without you realizing it.

Yeah, I have been using the 303, which seems to work pretty well.
