I'm having the carb rebuilt, timing checked to make sure its okay, but I don't know if that will solve all of my problems. 1990 SN w/ stock 351 carb
it runs great once you give it some rpm, but at idle and in gear it runs rough and low oil pressure (lower than 10psi when hot). when running at speed when hot it runs around 20psi. I turned up the idle speed to compensate to get through the day but the oil pressure is still low at idle and it gets worse as the day goes on and the motor heats up. Getting 150-160 degrees.
Have to open the choke plate manually when it cools down after runnig it for a while as the plate seems to stick closed. I have a carb kit going in it, anything else I should do?
new elec. ignition conversion last summer.
