2006 SANTE Ballast & Electrical Questions

Previous owner had added the additional fat sacs to existing hard tanks for more weight. We have small kids who aren’t doing anything crazy and need the space more than anything so pulling them out.

Got the tanks out and noticed these tanks only have two holes (05 SANTE post mentioned 3 if I recall) - fluid in/out through bottom and ventilation at rear top.

First question - one of the rear top copper connectors has a little movement to it. I can’t pull it out but it can spin a little. This a problem with an easy fix?

Second question - while disconnecting the wires I noticed a quick release plug stuffed in the back starboard side but not in use (it's dangling in 2nd pic below). Any idea what this might be? After, I noticed port side has one too.

Final question - I ordered new ballast tubing (hardwall tubing) - any recommendations on cutting through that?

    As always - THANKS!

Do you want to sell the fat sacs you took out?

Not sure about the copper fitting. Does the quick connect on the tank connect to the random one you found? That would be the sending unit for the gauge telling you if tanks are full or empty. And what’s boardwalk tubing? Was that ballast tubing?

homer12 thanks, it's actually a different quick connect. tough to see, but in the picture the tanks quick connect is still connected to it's link. this is a different quick connect.
and yes, i suppose auto correct got me, i was referring to the hardwall tubing used in the ballast systems, and how to easily cut through it.

I think you can cut the tubing with either tubing cutters like pvc cutters, sharp razor blade or hack saw if needed. Not sure about that connector. Just to throw ideas out there - to a courtesy light, anchor light, old ballast pump if that was changed significantly (my ballast pumps have quick connects), do you have those auto release rear hatches
