Linc update and trailer issue

new to the forum but I have a 2018 Boatmate trailer that came with my G25 and all of the lights are working except the running lights on the taillights. The turn signals work, brake lights work when applied and all of the side running lights work? Thoughts? I also checked the fuses in my truck and everything looks good.

Another question, I don't have a dealer here locally in Jacksonville FL, the old dealership still has a certified PCM mechanic which I was going to let do my service but I want to make sure if there are software updates I get them. How do you know when they update software and if you have latest? Also is there a way to understand what the updates are to know whether its worth the trip to nearest dealer?

LINC software updates will probably have to be done through a Nautique dealer.

I would contact Boatmate on the lights, I have found them to have great customer service. I think I would check the wire connections at the tail lights to be sure everything looks tight. Another thot to pin point if the issue is the truck or the trailer....plug trailer into different vehicle to see if the lights work then?

i usually just run my riding mower over to the trailer and go from the mower batter with some wires to the trailer to test all the lights and bypass anything with the tow vehicle.

Re software update...i also am pretty far from a dealer....i have a 2014 and well it is sometimes comforting to keep something upgraded to so called latest version, i just figure it everything works just take it off my to do list....

Make sure the ground connection is good at each light.
