2018 GS20 with 6.0 ZR4 winterization

So, it’s late to be winterizing but there is a good reason.
Anyway, I only find 7 blue plugs. If I am supposed to fill up the plug holder then I’m missing 3. Also, the manual calls for removing hoses that you cannot get to easily as well as a brass plug on the tranny cooler which would take a contortionist to get too.
Can I get some thoughts from you PN members who have a ZR4?

Here are the drain locations.

On the transmission cooler, I never remove that brass plug. I pull the hose from one end. Much easier.

Thanks Jeff and I used this same page from the manual. 7 blue plugs is all I get. I was told by the dealer that I would use all 10 spots on the plug storage tray. Obviously not on the 6.0L. Thanks again.

I agree with Jeff on the tranny cooler. I'm pretty sure my ZR4 only has 7 blue plugs as well. Don't forget to empty the strainer and flush the heater if yours is so equipped.

Thanks Evening Shade. I do those 2 things 1st. Actually installed a quick disconnect on the heater hose so it can be done in seconds.

That’s a great idea. Do you have any pics of fitting you used?

I went to Lowes. Got a 5/8” male and female brass fitting. Cut one of the hoses and installed. I got an extra female fitting and attached it to a 2’ piece of water hose. I use it to blow out the water without having to get my head down in the hull. Pics to come later.
