Which indash depth finder Faria, Humminbird, Hawkeye,Uniden?

I need a new depth finder and have looked at these, Faria, Humminbird, Hawkeye, and Uniden. Any input on these manufacturers? Real life experiences?

I had a Teleflex and it read correctly about 25 percent of the time. I changed the transducer location 4 times and it never helped. I have read that the Humminbird HDR 600 had software problems but the new HDR 610 works better. I have read the Faria unit has some type of fluid in the transducer and works great.

I bought a Humminbird last year, and it's already quit working. I purchased a "through hull" transducer, the one that you glue inside the hull. I haven't messed with it yet, but it is randomly displaying either nothing or 500+ feet! I don't remember which model, but I bought it last spring/summer.

You can have my Hummingbird out of my SAN. It doesn't work for me so hopefully it will work for you. Then I can get the Faria.

I installed a Faria a year ago. It works good.

I believe the Teleflex is the same as the hummingbird. My 95's worked about 25% of the time, the Faria on my new boat works 95% of the time.
