    04 SANTE Tower Removal

Hi Everyone. Just bought an 04 Super Air and she needs just a little TLC before she is ready for the water. One (of several) projects is to powder coat the tower. Any advice on removal of the old? Articles/ video links?

    Thank you in advance!

Lots of contorting. You'll have to remove panels and reach up and into the gunnels. I think the nuts are 7/16" and the nuts are Phillips heads. Much easier as a two man job.

I just did this on my 2001 SAN and it should not be much different than yours. Back brackets are easy to access. I accessed the front brackets from the cup holders next to the tower mounts alone. I cannot remember if 2004 has those cup holders or not though. I know they have the cup holders built in down lower.

How did it work out? Did you get them off easy, or better yet did it go on easy? Also, what was the approx cost of the powder coat job? Any Pics?

Alright, got the boat back last week. Targeting next for tower removal. Taking a quick look this will be easy. My 94 was a nightmare to work around but the bolts are easily accessible in this one.
