Folding Mirror Issue

I feel ridiculous making this post, but I just picked up my '14 G23 and I have worked for about 45 mins to get the mirror to fold down but to no avail. tried loosening with allen key and still no luck. Looked through manual but my mirror is not the same one depicted and does not go into much detail.

Any help would be super appreciated as my cover wont fit on with it set this way and rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.

Push the black button to left of mirror hinge in then pull down mirror

Ok, that�s how I was thinking it would operate but it just won�t budge. I will keep working on it. Thanks for the help!

I�ll push it in and wiggle the mirror a tiny but . It should push the mirror over once you push in the button
