Tightened front tower base on 2008 Nautique 230

just thought I’d share my experience. My front driver base on tower was loose. So I removed now seat back and tightened. Needed to remove speaker. There are three trees tanners which you need to pull the seat hard to pull out. I was careful and able to avoid breaking these. Then there are maybe 6 hangers and you just lift the seat upwards to take the seat back off. There’s a large hole drilled closed to the tower base. I estimate the nuts to be 1 inch. There are two tighten the one closest to the base and then tighten the next one to snug it down. I used a channel lock pliers tool. Mine was I believe husky brand and has a notch on the jaws to make grabbing nuts and bolts easier.

I always go back with nylon lock nuts so I don't have to keep picking them out of the bilge.
