    2007 220 SANTE tune up

A few questions. I am going to do plugs and wires in my ZR6 07 SANTE. I have removed the hardtanks to make this process easier. My question is has anyone removed the hard tanks and gone with bags only to have more storage and make overall engine access easier? Also how many guys have gone with different plugs than the 150+ price tag PCM plugs? Will also be doing both fuel filters as well as oil and impeller. Any other input is appreciated

I haven’t permanently removed the hard tanks but If you’re interested in surfing, you’ll need them along with more bags (I got mine from wavemaker and hope to install them in May).

I know most guys go with 1100 bags after removing the hard tanks. They came out pretty easy and I was going to go with bags to save on space for yearly maintenance as well as more storage.

Good question. I’ve been all over the net looking for the answer.

Can someone post a picture of the bottle of the correct 15W40. My dealer says Shell Rotello or Chevron Delo. But there are tons of different varieties of Rotello and Delo.

                    thanks everyone.

Be careful buying these plugs off Amazon, I bought those plugs for my ZR409 this winter and there were many clues that the plugs off Amazon were FAKE knock-offs (if you read reviews several people also mention figuring out the plugs were knock-offs after getting them). I looked up how you tell if they are the real deal and once you know what to look for, it was obvious they are not OEM. Also lot of complaints that the gap was wildly different on the plugs from Amazon. (and I order a lot from that place).

I ended up ordering my plugs from Advance Auto since there was a good price plus a rebate of $3 per plug. Gap came perfectly set on every plug.

The manual I have states the gap for the 6.0 is .060. Ac Delco plugs come at .040 I believe

Interesting. I see 4.5 stars with hundreds of reviews. They come .040 and I leave them at that. My ZR6 runs perfectly.
