    Changing codes on 2012 SAN210

I only have one code which I got when purchasing the boat used. I'm not sure if it is the master nautique code, the primary code, or the secondary code. I tried following the steps in the owners manual to change codes but no luck. The lights will not flash and go into program mode. My dealer is checking for me to see if my code is the master or not. Any suggestions or advice? Do you start with the system completely off? The manual says put in code then hit 1/2 and 7/8 at the same time and then the lights will flash putting it in program mode. Enter new code and start...new code again and start again. Does not seem to work for me. Thanks for your help

Almost for sure what you have is a user code instead of the master/factory code.

Thanks. From what I read, once I have the factory code, I can clear all codes and make new ones.

That is correct. Once you have the "master" code you can do whatever you want. You're doing everything right above, but the system won't respond the way you expect without that master code. Your dealer should be able to work with Nautique to get it to you.

Please keep us posted on this!

I have no idea if the procedure is the same on a 2012 but I had the same symptoms with my 2007. I figured I had to call the dealer first but instead called Nautique directly in case I was doing something wrong. First thing he asked for was the hull number and the code I had. He was able to confirm it was the master code so he told me what to do to program it. Maybe it was to make me feel better lol but he said a lot of people trip up at the same place lol. I totally forget the details but I think I had to skip putting in the master code first. Long story short is Nautique can tell you if its the master code and help you set things up if it is.
