    Python Oil

Need to fill the 502 up for the first time.

    Motor Builder said 15-40.

Anybody else have opinions? And yes, I've searched here and CCfan and all over the place.

I've been running Amsoil 20-50 Z-Rod for a few years now.

Every thread or post I've seen on the Python regarding oil, seems to indicate it requires a heavier weight oil and preferably one with a high zinc content. That said... this year I'll be switching to Amsoil 5-30 Signature and seeing how it effects my oil pressure and consumption, will determine if I switch back to the Z-rod oil.

My Python using Z-rod burns almost ZERO oil during a season for me (30-50 hrs).

Every vehicle I have uses their 5-30 Signature.
