How NOT to clean/polish tower speaker enclosure

Maybe you guys already knew this but I did not. I tried to polish the speaker cans with chrome polish. The result is dulled and scratched. Looks like dull brushed aluminum.
I searched here first and found no recommendations for products so I thought it did not make much difference. Someone please learn from my mistake! LOL
