Help replacing impeller on 2007 SANTE 220 with pcm 330

I am trying to replace the impeller, but the water pump housing doesn't have enough room to pull out. Do I have to remove the hoses from the exhaust manifold to have enough room, or is there a trick to to this I'm not aware of? Is it easier to remove hoses from manifold or other end?

When I replaced mine in the past there is just barely enough clearance to get the pump housing plate off with the impeller attached. There are three 10mm screws that have rubber grommets on the inside so you don't drop the screws. As memory serves me it was an almost blind operation to remove and replace but as the plate is triangular it was not bad. Your picture did not load which might help jog my memory. I never removed the entire pump to service the impeller.
