    Knock sensor repeated failure

I have a 2008 206 with the PCM 343 engine. For the last several years, I have had to replace the knock sensor. I've had it done at winterization by my dealer, and it seems to work fine at the start of the next season, but at some point in the summer it fails again. It leads to a warning beep any time the boat exceeds about 30 mph. Has anyone run into this issue? Wondering how easy it is to replace the knock sensor myself. Also, if anyone knows the part #, that would be helpful. Thanks

Replacing the knock sensor on a 350 block is easy. It ( our they ) have to be removed every time you winterize. The knock sensor(s) go in the block drain holes.

I worked as a GM tech for 20 years . I don't think I have seen 2 bad knock sensors in all that time. A knock sensor picks up vibration a spark knock can cause that vibration but so can a loose bracket or mount.
