Hi gang, I"m getting a fault on my port side ballast. It was reading 4.9v. It's now faulted and no longer working. Any idea what this is, ...and how I can fix it?

Mine failed too. I ran across another thread on here that indicated your could unplug it and it would ignore the signal. I'm crossing my fingers as it keeps shutting down the pump when its at 100% but actually empty. I'll know in about an hour if it worked or not. These were taken just before I unplugged the sensor. Mine was reading just over 3V when it was plugged in. Unplugged its reading 4.99V so I'm not optimistic that this will allow me to fill unless the computer knows this value is out of range and will just ignore it.
Here are some pics where the plug is located:

Unplugging worked like a champ. I just filled it until I heard water going off the side. I did a complete fill and drain to get the computer set back to zero.

No problem with fill then you stop when it runs out the overflow. Any issues when you hit back to dock to drain all ballast ? I plan to do this next weekend then get dealer to replace ballast sensor at end of season under warranty since other forum member said it was a royal pain to change out . Life is too short

Will the dealer just come to your boat and fix it or do you have to take it to the dealer? Just curious because shouldn’t this be covered under the warranty?

Dealer would probably come to his dock and repair but mostly likely there would be s delivery/travel fee on top of the parts and labor which are covered under warranty . I would image all warranty repairs are covered by work performed at dealer vs at owners dock/ slip. My dealer charges a flat $75 to come to your dock for repairs
