I just bought a 1999 Ski Nautique Super Sport that has been sitting for 3 years and I have a question about the starter. When I turn the key to attempt to crank the engine nothing happens but when I let it off into the ON position I hear a click in the engine compartment. I just replaced the batterys so they have full power. Any ideas as to what it could be? Starter? Starter relay? Maybe both? I am new to boats so I’m not too sure what it could be exactly. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks -Brice

Sitting for 3 years I would checking all the cables, like where they connect to the starter and solenoid... Go to www.correctcraftfan.com - they are a big help too. You may actually find a wiring diagram.. -
I replaced the connections on the main starter because they were pretty corroded. I just cut the wire back and clamped new ones on and put them on. All the dash light and everything comes on the engine just won’t crank.Comment
