My '93 Barefoot Nautique did not have a factory installed radio/CD player in it. Where would be the best location to install one? Where and how are the "factory" systems installed? Anyone have any picctures? :?:

I believe the factory location is in the glove box. Such is the case with my '93SN, but the BFN could be different (I doubt). CC made a plastic shroud that angled the radio head unit facing upward so you could see the face. Without the shroud/adapter, I would think it would be harder (if not impossible) to use the glovebox. Maybe CC still has the adapter available.
However, in '94 CC moved the radio head unit to the right of the cockpit pod assembly. Much better location as you do not have to get out of the driver's seat to change volume/station/source. But, if you decide on the glove box location, you should consider a head unit with a remote control that can be mounted in the instrument pod in lieu of the clock or the ones surface mounted somewhere handy.
