When I was installing new ballast in the 2001 SAN I noticed this near the gas tank. It is not hooked up to anything but wanted to know what it is. I stole this picture from another form. I circled it in red. Thanks guys!

If it has the sensor, it should have the gauge. I’ll have to check again tomorrow but I’m pretty sure the wire is short/cut, I don’t remember if there is a plug on the wire or not. There is no gauge on the dash for depth/temp.

I am not sure about temp(not avail on my gauge) but I hard wired it to another depth sensor and it works great.
