RE: trans fluid change 06 210

It's pretty hard to get a full 2 quarts out of the tranny mainly due to getting all of it out of the bottom of the pan. I would just replace what you pulled out and call it good. Do NOT, repeat, Do NOT overfill your tranny. You'll have a h*ll of a mess on your hands.

      thanks wakejunky
I just put 1 new quart in. Getting ready to warm it up and check the level.
First trying to get the spilled gas out of the bilge ( changing the fuel filter also).

just checked the trans fluid level. I have 2 lines on my dipstick. I'm assuming that the lower is min and the upper is full. Manuel only shows 1 line, full. Mine level is right at the lower line. should I fill to the upper line, or when it's hot will it read a little higher?

          93Euro,

I forget if the dipstick needs to be put all the way down, seated or just to the first o-ring in order to check the level. Either way the fill should be between the two marks.

check with ur dealer. u don't need to change the fluid for a long time with that trans/v drive. very, very low maintenance.
