I have SkiSafe as well, I just wish they could get a bit more aggressive on their deductible levels. I feel a $5,000.00 deductible is high for my 2017 G23. If there is an accident while your boat is in your boat lift, the deductible increases to $15,000.00 . Some competitive insurance providers, have deductibles at only 1% of the value of the boat you are insuring.

$5k is high for a deductible. Was there not an option to change deductible amount?
I have $1k deductible on my 2014 and think when I quoted it with SkiSafe I could have change it to a higher deductible to have a slightly lower premium. I would think the opposite would be applicable in your case.

All I can say is SkiSafe told me their standard deductible or the norm was $5,000.00 and $15,000 if an accident occurs while your boat is in your lift. To me both seemed high event though I went with their policy coverage

Like GML, I quoted them also maybe a year back at most and their deductible is insane for what they ask yearly IMO! Ended up going with local agent who sells nationwide and pay $800 yr w a $500 comp and collision deductible and 10k on personal items. Can't exactly remember ski safe quote but was well over 1k with a deductible that was insanely high out of pocket!
Again just my experience with them so my hats off to the ones who have saved with them.
