I own a 2016 Ski Nautique with the H-6 Engine. Last year the Neutral lockout worked just fine. Now this year it stopped. When I push the button to engage, nothing happens. The transmission stays in gear. The switch does not even light up. Possible blown fuse; if there is a fuse, where is it located? Anyone out there having this problem or ever had this issue? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how the circuitry looks for that, but I have never heard of one failing. Just to be sure, you are holding the button while you move the throttle lever into the forward position, correct?I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. Don't know if you were able to find a diagram, but here is one for the 2016.

I have exactly the same problem.
2016 Team 200 with H6 engine.
The switch used to work but now it doesn't.
You can press the button but it doesn't light up or do anything so I can't rev the engine in neutral.

Do you have the part number for that? How much it cost?
I was playing with mine this past summer and noticed nothing happened when I press the button and the boat was still in gear when I moved the lever to forward. My boat is a 2016 with the 343.

Reviving this thread to see if anyone has any more experience with this. Time to get this done as I'm taking some heat from my friends. Can anyone confirm if the referenced part in my previous post is the correct part to fix this?

Are you only having issues with the neutral lock out, or are you having bigger problems where the boat won’t crank/start because it thinks the boat is in gear when it’s not?
I had both issues this Spring, which were both fixed by replacing the “throttle base assembly” -this is the DBW unit in the side panel the throttle handle is bolted to. Apparently they go bad, nautiqueparts.com has them. I think my neutral button was fine, but if the boat thinks it’s in gear already, the button input is ignored. It’s a $700 part, so if it’s only the neutral lock out, I would live with it.
This is what the unit looked like on my 2018. I think the replacement is the same for all years of the 200.

Thank you for the reply.
Mine is only on the neutral lock out. Yikes, $700 bones. Yeah that'll be one feature that won't be getting fixed unless it manifests itself into something more. I need to spend some time at the boat to look at this. I think I'll start with the switch to see if it works or somehow got disconnected. There was some warranty work done on the ballast system and the speed control a few years back when I got the boat. I had to take it back again later because the ballast tank gauges were not working. They told me they somehow didn't get plugged back in. Makes me wonder if the switch or some other connector didn't get plugged back in as well.
Not what I was hoping to hear but really appreciate the response.
