Analog voltage gauge not working - digital is

So, like the title says, my analog gauge isn’t working. Just sits at zero. Digital gauge works perfect. I checked the wiring behind the dash the best I could - definitely no corrosion there.
Can I test the gauge itself somehow?
    its an 06 SANTE.
Someone else posted a gauge for sale and it happens to be the same as mine so I’m using his picture. I wish his was still available as I can’t find this gauge on Nautiqueparts either.

    Thanks!

Check the wires connected at the back of the gauge with a multi meter. If you have 12 volts there your gauge is most likely shot. I believe they will usually bounce when the key is first turned on. Mine last year would bounce but read nothing. Had good 12 volts on the wires so replaced it and is now fine.

Thanks - I noticed today that the light for this gauge also doesn’t come on when the others do at night. So I will check the wires. The gauge appeared to have 4 wires. I assume -12, +12, lights, what’s the last one for?

My old gauge from a 98 SN has four connections but only three were connected. Center post was ground. Spade lug is for the light, 12V feed was connected to the I terminal, and the S terminal with the red cover was not used. Not sure what the S would be for?????

Found a picture that states the S is for a sender and not used on a volt gauge Not sure what yours has on the back. I just googled "connections on voltage gauge"

I've got the same style gauges on my 2005 Sport Nautique and 2 of them have died in the last couple of years, exact same symptoms as you. In my case it was the oil and fuel gauge. Digital display for oil pressure was fine but gauge dead and won't light up when the dash lights are on. In both cases replacing the gauge solved the issue. Couldn't get the same style for the oil pressure one, but NP recommended the replacement which is a bit different but I've gotten use to the look.

Here's the link on NP that I found for your gauge, there's also a replacement part number for it.
