    2012 SANTE 210 Ballast Upgrade

I have a 2012 Super Air Nautique TE and I am looking to upgrade the ballast. I mainly use this boat for WakeSurfing and the plan is to add NSS to it this winter. As of right now with the factory ballast the wave is pretty hard to surf on. The wave is clean and crisp but not long enough nor tall enough. I was wondering what upgrades others have done to make a better wave. We are going to get in plumbed into the LINC system so all we need to know is where we need the extra sacks and how much extra weight. Anyone have nay advice.

750’s to each locker and around 200-300 in the bow(lead or bow sac). If no NSS I’d get a wake shaper of some sort

I have a 2013 and have been pondering the same question. The hardest part of my decision is how much of the rear lockers I want to use up. The 750’s take up the entire locker. We also use it as a party and kids boat, so we have lots of jackets, tubes, knee board, etc that goes into those lockers. I am torn between removing the rear tanks and a custom bag, or adding 400 a side piggy backed with lead ballast mixed in.

      Decisions decisions.

I have a 2012 210TE. Bought it used. I think it has custom bags because they fill up the rear lockers and the first side seat. Everything is plumbed into the Linc. It also has an extra belly bag. Everything is plumbed into the Linc but the gauge only shows factory tanks. I just have to keep filling and check visually when they are full but that is no big deal. I added 300 of lead bags to the bow because if I filled everything up and only had 2-3 people in boat, I could not get the bow down and it was difficult to get up to surf speed for the NSS to activate. Yes they take up room but we don't put anything in the rear lockers except ropes and jackets. With everything full, the wake is super tall but very short. I definitely need people or extra lead in the bow to make the wave longer.

Remove rear tanks and put 1100’s back there if you plan on mainly surfing. Add the piggy back to the bow tank . And get some 40lb ballast bags from pop products or leadwake to stuff under the seats in the bow. The tank removal is a very simple process. Just search my name and you’ll find a step by step.
