    Battery switch spinning

Swear I’ve seen this posted elsewhere but my battery switch is just spinning... does the whole switch need to be replaced?

Yes you need to replace the whole thing. The plastic housing is broken. My first one broke after about a year. I just ordered a spare from Nautique Parts to have on hand. It was about $42 with the PN discount.

Not sure if it would work in your scenario, bit I replaced mine with the larger older style in hopes it wouldn't break so easy. Two years in so far, but original did last 4-5 years

Replace the whole switch. There is a fix out to reinforce the switch to keep it from breaking again.

Yeah, but how do you get the part to reinforce if you are out of warranty or do you know if the new ones are better?
