I have a 2016 230 with the standard 2 tower speakers. Last year they started to make a knocking sound when at higher volume and I think the speaker is physically hitting the protective plastic grill as it does so along with the beat. I don’t play music super loud-it starts doing it at around 20-25 depending on the music. Higher base music is worse. Told dealer and they said they ‘changed the settings’ but (surprise) that did nothing.
Anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve it? I will likely bring it back but am not about to do it and have it in the shop now that the season is upon us. Also don’t want to not have tunes all summer. Any help Is appreciated.
