2007 236 gauge issue

When I crank my 236 Zr6, the oil pressure and temperature gauges are not "waking up." They both started misbehaving between this crank and the last one.
I've scrolled thru the digital readout on the tach and both are reading zero.
I've verified all the connectors on the engine harness are intact.
I've pulled the connector on both sending units, individually, then bumped the ignition. neither gauge wiggled.
I've dropped the panel under the dash, and all seems to be intact.

Being told its the gateway. Yay!
When others started barking about the future availability of all the proprietary shaped/sized touch screens in the event of a failure....I thought that they were over concerned. Defintely BS that we have to go back to analog because of a proprietary "gateway."
