4th of July error codes FTC 1411 spn 441

On the lake, 2012 230, dealer is closed, stuck on the water... what is high voltage? Okay to drive?
    Need to get towed in?
    DTC 1411 EMWT1 voltage high
    SPN 441 FMI 3
Any ideas... or better yet... fixes? TIA

EMWT is Exhaust Manifold Water Temperature (EMWT) Sensor 1 Higher Than Expected

Keep an eye on engine temperature. I would let the engine cool (shut off) then drive in slowly keeping an eye on temperature.

      Diagnostic Aids

      □ If the “EMWT High Voltage” fault is also present, follow the troubleshooting procedures for that fault as it may have caused “EMWT1 Sensor Higher Than Expected .”
      □ Check that the heat exchanger has a proper amount of ethylene glycol/water and that the heat exchanger is not leaking
      □ Ensure that there is no trapped air in the cooling path
      □ Inspect the cooling system for cracks and ensure connections are leak free
      □ Check that the raw water pickup is not blocked/restricted by debris and that the hose is tightly connected
      □ Check that the thermostat is not stuck closed
      □ Check that the raw water pump/impeller is tact and that it is not restricted
      □ Verify that the proper amount of raw water flow is being achieved, both static and underway

Check that your water strainer is not clogged with debris.

Thank you so much Gregg. Checked the impeller and strainer, moving to the thermostat next. Worried it might be a manifold issue.

Impeller bits DONT make it to the thermostat. They get stuck at the first stop after the water pump: tranny cooler intake grate... and clog the water flow to the entire engine.

start at the water pump and trace the hose down under the engine. Remove the clamp and find your impeller bits.
