    Engine Divider Swap

My engine dividers have seen better days and can easily be bent in both directions, think long metal pull saw amount of bow and flex. Has anyone swapped out the engine dividers for 3/4” Seaboard?

Thinking this would be an easy swap and then I don’t have to worry about any carpet.

    Thoughts?

WakeMakers sells a kit to add supports to the dividers....but also something you can easily fabricate. Getting thicker HDPE would work too as long as it will still fit in the floor channel but personally I would still re-inforce it even if changed over. My boat came from factory with 1/2" thick HDPE and the re-inforcement kit was added to the dividers and it has held up well with the 750lb PnP bags that fill up the rear lockers (My transom lockers are not as deep as some since the Ramfill tanks are below it). If I was putting in 1100lb bags, I probably would want 3/4" thick HDPE for the dividers.
