I have posted a previous post about my ZR6 “loading up” last season during surfing. That was my first year owning the boat. This season I have changed fuel filters, new plugs, new wires, serpentine belt, and impeller. Boat has run fine with what I would consider normal exhaust fumes and or visible fumes. They disappear immediately upon coming out. However we just got back from dale hollow and a few times during surfing we would maintain speed and power but have very heavy white fumes that would dissipate. It smells like fuel and I am getting no black build up in exhaust pipe or on boat and do not appear to be loosing any oil. The issue seems to come and go so I’m wondering if I’m getting excess fuel the engine can’t burn up at times or if I am burning off oil. Plugs that came out were original and had heavy carbon build up but no oil. Two were carbon fouled. Could this be a Air flow sensor issue? PCV valve? Any ideas would be appreciated as I am going back in 3 weeks. Boat starts, idles and runs like a champ. With a surf prop and 4 people she even reached about 43. Any ideas would help

I own the 06 of this same boat. I see a visible exhaust exiting the boat too - I'd also say it's white in color. But I wouldn't say its "heavy". Mine is much more noticeable in the morning and evening when the ambient air temp is lower. Can you take a video? -
Mine happened both times heavy in the evening. I have no video but one looked like a fog machine at times. I find it hard to believe it worn rings or valves. I’m guessing throttle body issue or PCV valve. Could be fuel injection as well. Any other ideas?Comment

Maybe just that the air is cool. Check your plugs, you’ll see straight away if you have a fuelling problem .Comment
