Hey guys,
The other day I was checking oil level in my GT40 and it was very close to ADD mark, so I decided to add half quart of oil to bring level closer to FULL mark. I was under impression that distance between ADD and FULL mark represents about 1 quart of oil (give or take). To my surprise, the level went above FULL mark, maybe an inch or so above the FULL mark.
Can half quart affect oil level in GT40 so much, is this normal for these engines? There is another thread on this site talking about how too much oil can cause foaming and other problems. I am super nervous now :-/
