I have had several Nautiques, and sold my last one about two months ago. I MISS ALOT.
My neighbor has a 2000 SN that has 1500 hours on it. Over the years he have always thought the engine oil pressure was low. Now the oil pressure is close to zero. I spoke with him yesterday about it, and he has a manual gauge he plans to double check the oil pressure. He said the engine does not use oil. It jut has low oil pressure.
If he has to rebuild the engine, is it better to pull the engine with the transmission together, or should he leave the transmission in the boat while the engine gets rebuilt?
