Help with prop identification

Hey everyone,
Trying to sort out my wake on my 2000 Air Nautique. I'm a beginner to the slalom course and have been skiing behind a '98 ski nautique quite a bit. I find it has a MUCH better wake than my 2000 Air Nautique. I'm hoping to improve on mine a bit.

From what i've read, I can only really do 3 things: Change the prop (acme 422), shed some weight (I have a tower, subwoofer, tower speakers....very little gear, anchor), and make sure people are positioned correctly in the boat (or not in it period). That all sound right?

I was looking at my prop this morning trying to identify it. Looks like an OJ Legend 4 blade prop. That's all I can figure out. Is it stock? I know they did some kind of work to the prop before I purchased the boat. Not sure if that meant reconditioned or replaced though.

I'm also only skiing at 28mph currently and have read that the wake on this boat doesn't really clean up till 32/34. True?

That is likely the stock prop. Who knows what might have been done to that prop over the years. That said, a 422 will improve things for sure. I just put a new one on my 1997 Ski Nautique, and it is strong and smooth.

And yes. Wake doesn’t really get decent until 34 on that boat. Ski nautique will ski much better than the air no matter what you do.

Thanks for the help. Turns out I have the twc hull and is probably much of my problems. Making a new post for that specific issue.
