Steering Assist "Centered - Deadband" needs adjustment?

When I have the NISA set to auto in either low or high setting and I am driving the boat dead straight, the NISA is showing 1 click to the port which in turn causes the bow to turn port. So to keep driving straight I turn wheel to starboard. But once NISA enters the "Dead Band -Centered" location indication on the LINC screen and shuts the thrust off, then I am actually turning port. So as I am trying to drive straight, I am constantly driving zig zag port to starboard because NISA thinks centered is in the wrong location and activates while I am driving dead straight. Over the last couple months I have been using NISA in manual mode for maneuvering when moving slow around downed boarders while weighted as the system is really just a fun to have feature. However, when I am not driving and have other people in my crew drive the boat (who have little experience with inboards), they have a hard time driving while weighted at slow speed so I turn NISA to auto for them. Thing is that with the NISA not being centered, I feel like they are zig zagging toward me in the water just as I experienced.
I have already tuned the rudder trim to full port deflection which has helped but I think my NISA needs more adjustment somewhere else in the system. Does anyone else have this issue or know if there is a way to change the deadband-centered location in the LINC software or adjustment in the rudder linkage somewhere?

I’m definitely curious to hear how you get this resolved. I’ve never used mine with anything other manual mode.

I am going to have the dealer look at it when I take it in at the end of summer. Not worth taking to dealer at this point as its just an annoyance. I was looking at it last week and I think there are several ways that this could be adjusted. The rudder assembly for the NISA boats have what looks like a big stack of magnets attached to the tiller assembly. There is also a sensor coming off the tiller that has what looks like a magnetic pickup that rotates as tiller moves. I am guess this is what reads center and how far steering is being turned. My thoughts are that the sensor can be rotated to adjust center, or a person could slide steering cable in its clamp assembly by tiller by an 1/8th inch or so. Or it could be that the sensor could be re-centered in software. Will need to get it fixed as currently if system is set to auto, when I drop below 4mph the boat takes off in the port direction and then when I correct to starboard NISA turns off them I am going to starboard. For me I like manual mode and will not use the auto mode. But my friends seem to like to drive in auto when I am behind the boat.
