    Ballast tank water gauges

On my 1999 Super Air both of my water gauges have quit working since I bought the boat in '02. One is stuck on empty and the other on full. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, what did you do to correct the problem? I would like to try and fix this myself without having to order 2 new sending units. Thanks for the help-

have you tried taking out the float in the tank. do that and try to get it unstuck if it is. if not check your wiring

I've tried taking the unit out, and the floats don't stick. I almost wonder if I should try spraying a lubricant on the float. I will check the wiring again, maybe something has come loose recently-

Ground one of the sending units to itself, pos. to neg. and see if the gauge pegs out past full, if it does the gauge is bad if not then it's your sending unit
