Alternator upgrade for 2008 5.7 343 PCM

I have the engine out of the boat right now (2008 5.7 343 PCM). I am wondering if I should upgrade the alternator. I believe the alternator that came with this boat is 100A.

While the engine is out, does anyone recommend I upgrade? If yes, which one do you recommend? Is there a larger alternator that will mount on easily with out modifying anything else on the engine. (besides the wire gauge.. I will upgrade this accordingly)

My goal is to install the alternator once and not struggle with low voltage issues.

Right now I have an 800w sub amp, 650w amp powering the 6 speakers, and I would like to add some tower speakers eventually. Im also running some LED's on the back that are 200w total.

I have a similar set up, (not as big a sub amp, not quite as much power to the in boat speakers) but have tower speakers and three shadow caster LED's... I have a 2008 230 with the 343 and have had no issues with the factory alternator keeping the batteries charged.. I often sit for hours with the tunes cranked and still manage to use the battery that was running the tunes to crank... I alternate batteries each time out, and have a quality battery maintainer that I use most of the time the boat is at the dock... I buy my batteries from a large commercial battery supply warehouse that supplies fed-ex, and UPS fleets and the like... Just my .02

Shag, thanks for the feedback. That does give me some confidence that I am ok with 100 amp.

Can anyone answer this question from a technical perspective based on the power consumption of my system? Is there another alternator that might be worth spending a little extra money on?
