    Ballast sensor in G23

The ballast sensor in our 17 G shows 100% but never actually fills the tank. Then when emptying, it never actually shuts off even though it shows 0. When try to fill again, it goes back to 100% immediately. Easy fix or service from the dealer?

    thanks in advance.

(Sitting in the boat pissed bc I can’t surf!)

Oh **** no not an easy fix . I just went through this procedure on my 2017 G 23 . Had to take boat to dealer then they had to engineer a special tool to remove the sensors . Since it was under warranty I asked to replace all of them. Big issue with these boats . I’m a pretty handy guy but too large of a task to complete myself .

Nope don't even go there. Too complicated for dock service. I tried that approach myself and it was a no go. It just added to my time without the boat. Just take the boat in and be done with it. Ask dealer to go on and order 3 ballast sensors now vs waiting until you take to the boat to them. Pain in the rear to access these sensors; a very difficult job even for the dealer
