gt40 short block

I'm desperately seeking a GT40 short block......no one has one that I can find. I found a couple long blocks, but I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to. Any help would be great!!

Rob, would any standard rotation 351w short block work? Not sure if the GT40's went roller or not.

Have you tried contacting Jasper? I know thats where '79 got his longblock- not sure if they do shortblocks or not.

Have you looked at Ford motorsport, they used to have Gt40 long and short blocks... I will see If I can find a web site..

Rob, you may know this already, but you want to make sure you get a marine short block. Piston-cylinder wall clearance is larger than an automotive application.
