G23 Screen shuts off while boat is running

This has happened 4 times now. The first time the boat would not shut off, stop button wouldn’t work and killing battery switch did nothing. Had to pull the lanyard to kill it. Then put lanyard back on and everything worked as usual.

The next 2 times screen (Linc) went black and boat stayed running for a while and then randomly shut off. Remove and replace lanyard and everything fired up as usual.

Last time, same thing as above but now nothing will come on. Checked voltage at batteries and battery switch, both read about 12.8. Now when you hit the start button the bulge and start light flash for a split second and nothing more.

Any advise or experience with this would be greatly appreciated. Maybe the keypad is bad??

If your screen is not working at all but your boat is starting, you may want to check the fuse underneath the observer seat. Same thing happened to me on the water last week checked the fuse and it was blown

Thank you for the input, I’ll check it tomorrow.

I had to pull the boat home last night, and today it worked perfectly! Hard to fix something when it’s intermittent...

Guessing perhaps its a loose connection or perhaps corrosion at one of the connections or fuses?
