Anyone know if it is possible to adjust the throttle with the Drive By Wire systems?

I have a 2019 and the throttle response is terrible. After putting it in drive there is about 2 inches of dead space or no throttle response. If someone wants a little more drag before taking off while being towed, it takes a few seconds to safely/slowly move the throttle far enough to get the engine to respond. Once it gets there it is fine. Dealer said it is normal. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you're putting the handle all the way into forward (all the way to the detent) before trying to apply throttle?

If so, 2" of dead travel is certainly not right. That's a warranty item for sure.

It engages and moves forward right away. No further response (change in speed or rpms) for roughly the next 2 inches.

This is not right for sure and no way to adjust a drive by wire throttle that I am aware of. Instant response is the point of these so 2" of dead space means something is out of wack

You never said whether you are putting the handle all the way into forward (up to the actual detent). The transmission may engage before that, but the handle has a definite detent when it reaches the forward position. I just measured my Ski Nautique throttle distance to the forward detent (I don't have a G here right now), and it was 4" past the locked neutral location.

If you're really seeing 2" of travel after the forward detent, there is certainly an issue.

Post a running video of what you're seeing, and we'll know if it is normal or not.

I agree. Service said they water tested it and compared it to the others. I will talk to the the owner next time. This is nothing against the dealer, as they have taken care of everything with the boat so far. Just thought I would ask here for some other knowledge/opinions. I have not driven other Nautiques recently, but other companies have immediate throttle response.
