Excalibur 343 on my 210 SAN (2008) died, looking for a solution

    Dear CC fans,

Our club boat with 5000 hours of great services decided to give up, engine died and is not rebuildable, therefore I m looking for a used engine, do you think it is better to buy a long block and interchange all the accessories or buying a complete used ready to run engine is a better idea ?

    Thanks for your inputs

That was the first idea but the club cannot afford a new engine and the boat may not last another 5000 hours... dilema

It will cost even more to try to save money and cobble something together. Sell it or bite the bullet and fix it right .

Thanks for your answer, I can fix it right with a used engine...;-) as long as the used engine is not toasted
