Large hose clamp found after rudder leak was fixed

I have an 06 SANTE. I just picked up the boat from the mechanic who was fixing a rudder leak. I understand he did extensive re-working of the rudder ( I don't know all the details, but the rudder had no physical damage from hitting something - just 12 years of use). After picking up the boat, I found a hose clamp in the port storage locker. Anyone know what it goes to so I don't have to return to the mechanic? I would say it was 3-5 inches in diameter.

    Thanks!

It could just be a spare. If you want to spot check, all hoses below the waterline should be double clamped at each end and anything above the waterline single clamped. It seems like the exhaust hose runs near the rudder. Not sure what else though on your boat.
