SV211 PCM 330 possible fuel system issue

I have a 2007 SV211 PCM Excalibur 330 the motor starts and runs smooth but performance has been dropping (230 hours total). Last weekend I changed the FCC filter, apparently my boat did not come with the inline filter from the factory. The new filter did not help the performance (perfect pass is off), the engine only revs to 3400 rpm while under load, but will rev freely in neutral. I believe it is being fuel starved... there is no difference in performance when the throttle is fully on and when it is push down only 60% of the way. What would be next step to take?, (pressure gauge on fuel line - if it is low pressure) what else should I check. I keep my boat on a lake an hour and half from home, so when I get there I want to be prepared to fix whatever is wrong if possible (need to order parts to have on hand). Any advice would be great!

I did post this comment on another fuel system post, but wanted to post directly to get it out there. Taking boat to shop at this point in the season would effectively end it so would love to fix myself and get a few more outings.

    Thanks, Jason

Check for a clogged tank vent. I've seen mud wasps build nests in there and once that happens, very little air will vent into the gas tank leading to a fuel starvation issue.

I believe that is canister in photo is there I will look inside of it and see if the screen is clogged... I thought the line in the photo with the red band was the fuel delivery hose though...

How do you check for clogged tank vent definitely something I will check? I do get tons of mud wasp nests on the cover and various places, but that vent location is securely protected by the cover so I would think very difficult for them to get in there.

Thanks for the help, fuel vent is clear and the small screen is clean, but sadly still having same issue, I believe it may be electronics issue.

If it isn’t electric it might be a low pressure fuel pump. They are cheap.
