Ballast Drain Dripping

Hi all. I was on the water for 30min and then put the boat back on the lift. I noticed water was dripping out of the ballast drains. Kept dripping for a while almost 30min. This never has happened before. Any thoughts on what is causing this?? I have a 2015 230.

Your ballast impeller needs to be replaced. I replace mine every other year in my 3 reversible ballast puppy pumps. Over time the vanes will take a "set" just like engine impeller and it allows water to leak past it (especially if left in over winter layup), this also means that you are slowly losing water in your ballast when surfing. These are easy to replace, I usually get mine from Wakemakers.

That’s what I was thinking as well but I just replaced them. I will take a look and see.

If you just replaced them, its possible that the o-ring or cover did not make a tight seal
