Hey all. Been trying to find a thread or document online that will show me the valve lash adjustments for my 04 Excalibur 330. Haven’t been able to find anything reliable yet so I figured I’d post. Anyone know offhand or point me to a thread/document?

Appreciate the reply. Owners manuals don’t give engine specs. They’re more for general operation and maintenance. It’s not in the owner manual or the engine illustrated parts manual. In cars this would be in like a technical service manual that the techs use but I donno if they have that kind of documentation for boats

MLA you’re 100% correct. Embarrassed about this question now but you did answer it lol. All I’m actually trying to do is find the procedure for adjusting the rockers. Found one here: https://www.centuryperformance.com/v...procedure.html But I swore there were still clearances to check when tightening the rockers. This is just to fix some valvetrain noise. Might also be an exhaust leak but figured I’d check both at the same time.

Did you just rebuild the engine, either complete or top half? Odd to have valve train noise after the initial setting, unless there is an issue with the cam, lifter(s), oil pressure or rockers.
If you pull the plug wires one at a time, it will change the sound of an exhaust leak. Valve noise should not change.
Been a 100 years since ive set a SBC, but running was easiest, but messiest. Back off nut till it clattered, tighten down till noise stops, then turn like 1/4 or 1/2 turn more.
