MAP and Barometer - 1994 Ski Nautique PCM Pro Tec Injection

    Hi.
There are two sensors MAP and Barometer located over each other ( MAP is lower and Barometer is upper). They both have a pipe for hose. I noticed, that only one (MAP) has a hose connected to the throttle body. Barometer is just not connected. Is it OK..? or there should be a splitter which connects these two sensors to the throttle body. Any ideas..? Thanks

I'm not sure on this specific engine but that's how it usaly is. One mesures intake manifold pressure the other one atmospheric pressure.
The one for atmospheric pressure is to adjust fuel settings if you on higher elevation.

Thanks. Having problem with stable idle. Just changed Idle control valve. Same.

Is this a ford or gm engine? Do you have a service manual showing all the sensors?.
Also check for a vacuum leak and check your fuel pressure.

Its a Ford engine 351. I think its a vacuum leak too. Missing a massive gasket under throttle body. I made a quick observation for now. Going to make a test this week.
